Twitter-Sweet By LeRoi Poet

I fell off, I use to be lyrical somewhat spiritual with the way that I rhymed.
Lines took hours, were far from sour because I took my time
Twitters too gripping, I got pulled right in, the continuous banter
I slowed with writing, but I'd be lying If I said I didn't enjoy laughter

Thanks for your time and joining me on this journey, find my top poems on the left, and more on My Blog! Plus LeRoi Poet Instagram for more visual look into my life 😊

"Dear Lisboa" By LeRoi Poet

Dear Lisboa,

I came to you for a rest and you gave it to me,
You supplied fresh seafood when I wss hungry, satisfying my sweet tooth, with your pastry,
Allowed me to explore the vein like roads of your body,
Going deep in your caves, falling in love so deeply,
I relaxed in gardens, with your subtle sweet sea scent in the air,
As light breezes whispered latin in both of my ears...

2015 Taught Me... By LeRoi

2015 taught me that being "too nice" is actually not good.

When you are too nice, you allow people to push your buttons and step over once healthy boundaries; making excuses for their actual behaviour "Maybe its me, I'm too hard", going against your values, allowing the person to avoid dealing with your true feelings.
